Hailing from the small town of Cohutta, Georgia — where most of his family still lives — Austin brings a wealth of diverse work experience and a big heart for connection to his role as Maintenance Operations Admin at Seeds of Change.

Before joining our team, Austin explored many paths: from building boxes at a plastic plant and running production lines, to working with Walmart’s OGP crew, and supporting clients at a call center doing payroll. His eye for detail even led him to the quality department at TurboTax as a Primary Quality Technician.

Despite all that, Austin knew he wanted something more meaningful. In his words: “I have never worked at a company like this and I don’t think if I ever left that I would find another one that’s faith-based with a mission like Seeds of Change.” The fellowship with his coworkers lifts his spirits on tough days and makes him feel right at home.

Outside of work, Austin loves spending time with his wife and two little girls. He also enjoys video editing, playing video games, learning new skills, watching movies and TV shows, helping with his wife’s business, and baking or cooking for his family.
